Site Customization
We can customize your template to better suit your needs by adding features, changing layout, colors, functionality, and more. Below is a list of standard customizations we commonly do along with the price for each. If the customizations you are looking for are not noted below, please contact us for more info and a custom price quote. When ready to purchase customizations to a template you have already purchased, or a new template with customizations, we will provide you with a direct link to make payment.
Contact form: $25
A contact form can be added to any template that does not come with one. This would include fields for name, email, address, phone and comments. If you require more or different fields than this, please contact us for a custom quote.
Password Protected Client Image Proofing: $40 +
A password protected section for client proofing can be added to any Portfolio template for an additional $40-50, depending on which template you have. The page will initially have a field to enter a password. When a user enters the correct password, a gallery page laid out like the regular gallery pages will appear, with their photos. It will hold the same number of images that each regular gallery category page holds. If you want more images per client gallery, there is an additional fee which is based on how many more you want. Contact us for a custom quote on this. You can have multiple passwords/client galleries at one time.
Client Login Only: $25
If you want password protection for client galleries created using a third party software, a page in the template can be modified that will initially have a field to enter a password. When a user enters the correct password, there will then be a button that the user can click on that will link to the gallery you have created for that specific client. You will be able to specify where each client login links to. You can have multiple passwords/client galleries at one time.
HTML Splash Page: $30
An html splash page can be created that would appear before users enter the Flash site. This would include a logo, image(s) if desired, some text and a link to enter the Flash site.
Logo Insertion: $25
We can add a logo to any template that does already allow you to add your own.
Video: contact us for a price
There are two options for use of video with the templates.
1- You could have a video load within the template but it would have to be in .FLV format (we would add this feature for an additional fee). Contact us with more info on how many you will need and where they will need to be added.
2- You could add html hyperlinks in the main text area of any page that would open the video in any format in a new window. It could either be a regular sized window or a smaller popup window. This option does not incur any cost.
Additional Pages: $15 +
One additional page can be added for $15. Two for $20. Three for $25. If more are needed, contact us for more info.
Link to Another Site: $10
We can change a main menu item so that it links directly to an external page or site (such as a blog).
Subcategory Pages: $25
Up to 5 non-gallery subcategory pages can be added to any template that does not have them. They would appear as a dropdown list when moving the mouse over the main menu item.
Change the Font: $10
We can change the font on any template to the font of your choice.
Change the Music: see below for price
If you have Flash MX or higher, you can change the music on your own. We can send instructions on how to do this if needed. Alternately, we can replace the music if you provide the desired music in mp3 or wav format. We will do this at no cost the first time and may also do it at no cost again later if you don't need to change it very often. If you want it changed frequently or want several songs converted at once, there is a fee to do this, starting at $10, depending on how many need to be converted. Alternately, we can modify the template so that it loads an mp3 that you can replace yourself whenever needed for a one-time fee of $10.
Slideshow in Galleries: $30
A slideshow feature can be added to each gallery category page. This would include controls for Play and Stop. Users can still use the thumbnails to view images, or they can click Play to watch them as a slideshow.
Slideshow on Homepage: $25
A slideshow feature similar to that on Portfolio 20 can be added to the home page of any Portfolio template that does not already have this feature. As many images as desired can be added.
Paypal Add to Cart buttons: $30 +
Paypal "buy now" buttons can be added to appear with prices for each gallery image. Users will be able to add multiple items to the Paypal shopping cart before checking out. The cost to add either the "add to cart" feature is $30. If you also would like to have a drop down list of multiple options/prices for each item, this can be added for an additional $20.
Image descriptions: $25
We can add the ability to enter a couple lines of descriptive text with each gallery image in templates that don't already have this feature.
Other customizations we can do:
- Add more images per gallery and/or more gallery categories to the Portfolio templates.
- Add the ability to add and/or update images on templates that do not include this feature.
- Add music to templates that do not include this feature. Either an updatable non-looping mp3, or an embedded .swf music loop.
- Remove music from templates that include this feature.*
- Remove existing sound effects (i.e., mouseover sounds, page transition sounds). *
- Add current date on every page. *
- Change background image or background color.
- Extend space allowed for company name, page titles or slogan. *
Above customizations marked with a * indicate that we MIGHT be able to do this customization at NO additonal charge.
